Hi everyone, too many Facebook user doesn't know how to remove Facebook application(s) once they used it and don't want to use it again in future, and as the result they gets a lot of useless and unwanted applications in their account, which are usually feel like spam because of unwanted mails and wall posts on the Facebook wall. I was also suffered this problem and i don't want others to face the same, that is why I'm providing you some simple and easy steps to remove useless and unwanted apps from your Facebook account with screenshots which made it easy for you.
Login to your Facebook account.
Click on "Account" tab located at top right corner, then click "Privacy Settings" option from it, Facebook calls it Privacy settings just because it is all related to your accounts privacy and safety, it controls your posts, sharers, tags, comments, photos, videos, personal information, friends list privacy and much more but currently I am going to show you only application control settings.
Now you should be at your account privacy settings page, click on "Edit your settings" link under the "Apps and Websites" located at bottom left corner of the page. For other purpose you can select various choice of yours that what settings you want to do by clicking on "customize" link but currently I am going to show you only edit Apps and website settings link option so click on it.
Now you will get a list of Facebook apps that you are using through your Facebook account, Click on "Remove unwanted or spammy apps" at the end of the list of apps. Here you can also change the email address or other rights and permissions for individual application, for example you can stop any application to auto post on your wall which seems to be a spam. however we will go through Remove unwanted application link right now. All right click on it.
Click the "x" button near the app name which you want to remove, for example I'm removing "Bunches of Flowers" from my account. you can also choose and set permissions for the particular application by clicking on edit settings.
You will be prompt to confirm that you want to remove the selected app, Click on Remove button to remove the app.
Facebook will notify you that it has removed that app from your account, click on Okay button to continue removing other apps from your account.
Repeat from Step 5 to remove other apps from your Facebook account.Congratulations!! you have successfully removed unwanted and useless apps from your Facebook account, now your Facebook account is clean and spam-free.
Please Note: You can not remove multiple apps at once, you have to remove it one by one, Facebook is still cruel to us. Feel free to ask for solution for your problems related to computing by comments, I'll try my best to solve it. Happy Facebooking.
